Kazakhstan president suggests expanding industrial cooperation in CIS
MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev suggested developing a program to set up industrial complexes in the CIS as he spoke at the online session of the CIS Heads of State Council on 15 October, BelTA has learned.
“We should focus on expanding industrial cooperation in the CIS, including through setting up joint ventures, ensuring production connectivity and effective cooperation of business entities. For this purpose, we think we should work out a new program for the development of industrial complexes at least through 2025,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In his words, the document should envisage specific mechanisms and instruments of support.
