MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – The 2022 budget bill will be one of the central themes of the autumn session of the parliament, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said at a meeting of the Council of the House of Representatives, BelTA has learned.
“One of the central themes of the autumn session will be the 2022 budget bill. Last week, Belarus’ draft social and economic development forecast, the main monetary management guidelines, and the 2022 budget bill were discussed at the meeting of the Council of Ministers with the participation of MPs. I would like to note that these drafts already contained a number of proposals of the parliament,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
According to him, on 6 October the MPs will meet with Taxes and Duties Minister Sergei Nalivaiko. “This will be a good opportunity to discuss once again plans to improve tax legislation. The Council of Ministers, as always, will send us tentative versions of these bills before the budget bill is officially submitted for consideration. These bills will be discussed by commissions with the participation of relevant ministers and at an expanded meeting of the Commission on Budget and Finance. Also, all the fundamental points of the budget bill will certainly be discussed at the preliminary reading that will be attended by the prime minister,” the speaker said.
