Belarus, IOM reaffirm interest in advancing cooperation
MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Republic of Belarus Mahym Orazmuhammedova on 7 October, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Sergei Aleinik and Mahym Orazmuhammedova discussed Belarus’ cooperation with the International Organization for Migration within the framework of the organization’s program activities, including border management, assistance with the voluntary return of migrants, and provision of the necessary aid to migrants, including medical aid.
Apart from that, the interest in future advancement of this avenue of cooperation and other ones was reaffirmed.
