Belarus’ COVID-19 latest: 1,872 new cases, 951 recoveries
MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 1,978 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 1,307 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
The nationwide coronavirus tally now stands at 547,826. A total of 525,144 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.
As many as 4,212 COVID-19 patients have died since the infection outbreak in Belarus.
All in all, Belarus performed 8,650,065 tests, including 12,205 tests in the past 24 hours.
More than 2,242,000 Belarusians have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Over 1,649,000 of them have already got two shots.
